Jammu is one of the administered capital of Jammu and Kashmir. It is also known as city of temples it home of the popular Hindu shrine Vishno devi. There are numerous tourist attraction in the Jammu region such as Vaishno Devi, Nandini Wildlife Sanctuary, Manasar lake, Bahu Fort, Raghunath Temple, Peer Kho Cave and Shivkhori cave.

Vishno devi Shrine:

Vishno devi Shrine is one of the famous religious tourist destination in India. Tourist are coming to visit the Mata vaishno devi darbar all over the India throughout the year but during the Navratri and in May-June, you will find the huge crowd here. The Yatra start for Katra, a city just 48 km away from the Jammu city and we have to go on the top of the Trikuta Hills at a height of 1700 m. we have to go 13 km uphill to visit the Mata ka Darbar. When you visit the Mata Vaishno devi, it mandatory for us to visit Ardhakuwari, just 6km away from the Kantara on the way to Maa vaish no devi and after the Darshan to Mata vaishno devi, we have to move 1.5 Km uphill to visit the Bhairo baba temple. There is a Saying that trith yatra will not be successful, we do visit the Bhairo baba temple. On the way to Mata vaishno devi, there are so many beautiful places, you can stop for a while and enjoy the nature and click the photograph.

Raghunath Temple:

Raghunath Temple is situated in the centre of the Jammu city and it was built in 1857 by the Maharaj Gulab singh who was also the founder of the Kingdom Jammu and Kashmir. The Temple is dedicated to the numerous God and Goddess associated with the epic Ramayana. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu’s eighth incarnation and Dogras’ patron deity, the Rama.

Shivkhori:

Shivkhori is 104 km away from the Jammu city and is one of the great cave dedicated to Lord Shiva. Shavkhori is situated in District Reasi. There is tracking of 4 km to reach Holy cave, which is surrounded by nature. You will experience peace here. The Holy cave is more than 150 mts long & houses 4 feet high Svayambhu Lingum, which constantly baths in a milky lime fluid dripping from the ceiling.

Patnitop:

Patnitop is one of the beautiful location in the Udhampur District on the National Highway 1A 112 KM from the Jammu. It is in the Lower Himalya Range just 35 Km away from the Pir Panchal range. One of the other top peak from s the pantnitop is nathatop is just 15min drive. It is peaceful place with natural beauty. There is good location for paragliding at patanitop. There is famous Nag Temple at patanitop, tourist come to see this Nag temple.
