Desert National Park

The Desert National Park is one of the largest national parks in India.  This park is located in the western Indian state of Rajasthan near the town of Jaisalmer.  Desert National Park is an excellent example of the ecosystem of the Thar Desert and 20 percent of the park is sand dunes.  This place is spread over an area of 3162 sq. km and the major landform is consisted of craggy rocks & compact salt lake bottoms, and intermediate areas and fixed dunes.

The Camel Safari over here is very much popular through Desert National Park.  Though, jeep Safari is a good and fast option to visit through this large national park as it takes less time than camel safari.  Camping is the best way to enjoy the wildlife of the park.  Sam and Dunes are one of the major tourist attractions near to Jaisalmer.  This place is located to near the world famous desert of Rajasthan the Thar Desert and here tourists can enjoy unforgettable camel safari ride over here.   Gadsisar Sagar Tank and Sudashri water hole are also the attractions to visit here.  The endangered Indian Bustard is the major attraction of the Desert National Park.
